12 May Romaine lettuce with parmesan
The most simple recipes are sometimes the most difficult to come up with. I’ve found this recipe somewhere on Instagram and it intrigued me enough to try it out. And it turned out so deliciously that I’m slowly becoming addicted.
Ingredients
Recipe
1 romaine lettuce
approx. 20 – 40 g of parmesan or grana padano cheese, finely grated
3-4 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil (I usually season it to taste)
1-2 tablespoons of lemon juice (I usually season it to taste)
salt and pepper to taste
Recipe
1. tear romaine lettuce into smaller pieces. I remove the harder stalks, but you don’t have to do it
2. Sprinkle lettuce with olive oil and lemon juice
3. Season with salt and pepper
4. Sprinkle with finely grated parmesan or grana padano cheese
5. Mix everything well and serve immediately
