Smoothie with cinnamon and dried prunes

Autumn is just knocking on the door and quite frankly it is not my favourite season, but delicious smoothies full of autumnal flavours make dark, grey and gloomy days a bit more manageable. I like to serve such smoothie either for breakfast, to make the start of the day much easier, or after workout.

 

Ingredients

 

(1 large serving or two smaller servings)

around 200ml of buttermilk, kefir or yoghurt or vegan soy yoghurt or vegan coconut yoghurt
1 banana
half of orange
15 dried prunes
a pinch of cinnamon
1 tablespoon of erythritol – you can replace it with other sweetener of choice or simply omit it at all especially if you use very ripe banana
slice of fresh ginger
almond flakes for decoration

 

Recipe

 

1. Blend all ingredients except almond flakes until smooth
2. Decorate with almond flakes and serve
